The Persistence of Drift is a collection of six ambient pieces that make up nearly an hour of calming soundscapes. Each piece has a modular structure: short motifs and loops slowly shift alongside one another, creating ever-changing constellations.
The compositions explore a spectrum of still, contemplative moods: the break of dawn, slowly shifting forces in a fragile equilibrium, passing shadows, the relentless rhythm of the tides, and the calm, mirror-like surface of an unruffled sea.
